In 2017, I graduated from West Virginia University (WVU) with a B.A. in English, where I was able to gain over a year of experience as a marketing and communications intern at WVU’s College of Education and Human Services. Following graduation, I worked two-and-a-half years as a grant writer for  Friends of Deckers Creek, a watershed nonprofit in Morgantown, WV.

My professional experience has been focused primarily on grant-writing, and helping grassroots nonprofits serve their communities is something I'm truly passionate about.
